This is Our Patriot Missile. The first 3 attempts to light the L952 failed. Although the L motor did light at dusk using 2 FireStar ignitors and some thermalite. The dusk launch was very cool. Next time we launch this rocket we are planning on using the newly certified L1500 Blue Thunder from Aerotech.
A perfect recovery using an Olsen Timer for deployment. The charge was a little small at 3.5 grams of powder for primary and secondary one second later. The saving factor was the drogue chute on the payload that pulled the rest of the 16foot chute out. Good idea so I plan on keeping all 3 chutes in it.
